Course Reserves

Course reserves are required reading materials your professor assigns for your particular class. Electronic reserves may be accessed from anywhere on- or off-campus. Physical reserves are for in-library use only for a limited time period.

To Find Course Reserves

Lookup Items on Reserve by reserve desk, instructor, or course.  A link can always be found on the Library’s webpage banner.

Electronic

Items on eReserve can be accessed anywhere on campus and off-campus with VPN access.

Physical

Physical items are located at Hunt and Sorrells Library circulation desks.

Items circulate for 2 hours in-library only.  The overdue fine is 50¢ per hour.

Course reserves are not eligible for renewals, interlibrary loan, or non-Carnegie Mellon users.

Items at Mellon Institute Library are located in the Periodicals room.
