The University Libraries offer many services to help faculty with their research and teaching. Each department or school has a liaison librarian assigned to it who can advise you regarding the resources, services, and policies of the University Libraries. They can also provide research assistance.
In addition, librarians can provide library instruction for your classes. For this you can contact your liaison librarian directly, or use the Library Instruction Request Form. If you have required materials for your class, you can Submit Materials for Course Reserves and the Libraries will make them available.
The University Libraries also provide services related to Scholarly Communications. Depositing your work in Research Showcase, our institutional repository, will ensure long-term preservation and free (open) access to it. Faculty are also encouraged to take advantage of the Libraries’ Financial Support for Open Access Publishing.
