Believing that effective use of information is critical to success, and that students' education must prepare them for lifelong learning, Qatar Library will:
Acquire and provide access to optimal information resources & services;
Support the curriculum, research & other scholarly endeavors of Carnegie Mellon in Qatar (CMUQ);
Implement support programs that address needs specific to the Qatar campus;
Work with CMU & CMUQ colleagues to develop an integrated information literacy plan across campus; and
Foster a community of librarianship & develop sustainable collaborations with library partners in Qatar & in the Gulf region.
